If you really must play the first one though play "First Departure" that was re-released on PS4 / Switch. I must precise that "First Departure" is a sort of remaster, not a full-on remake like "The Second Story R".

Me, too! I'm on my Rena run now, having finished Claude about a week ago; I just reached the point where we got our Psynard on Nede.

I played the original back in the late 90's. It is one of my top five all-time favourite JRPG's, and in my top 20 for favourite games in general. That said... The remake is much more enjoyable. The quality-of-life upgrades are tremendous- almost game-breaking levels of good, in fact.

I'm loving it! :D

I take a break with PSO during one week Holidays and i play Momotarou Katsugeki, Action/Adventure on Pc-Engine HUcard.
I always liked NEC and owned the PC-Engine Duo during the 90s.
Momotarou Katsugeki is really cute, very funny !
It's worth a try I think.

I just bought it last night because one of the 2 main characters is an elf lol, plus I dont see space fantasy games often
 
Earlier in the year I was playing quite a bit of Minetest. On server I played on was based around the TechAge modpack. Offline I was playing the Hades mod.
 
I will be on vacation and, therefore, you will not see the Vampire Lolita Meier for 2 weeks ^w^.
So, I started playing Tengai Makyô Ziria, the 1st episode of this legendary series on Nec consoles that made me dream of when I was a teenager. Thanksfully, The game has been translated into English (you can find a rom here).​

I also loved Hudson soft games back in the days.
One of my best friend owned a PC engine GT and i could borrow it from him a few times.
One of the most advanced piece of technoogy for the era if you compare it to the other portable systems you had at the time: aka Game Boy or Game Gear.

Hellcard with a group of 3 is addictive. It’s got the same satisfaction of Slay the Spire, except multiplayer.

Same group of 3 is now playing For the King. We aren’t too deep into it, but our first campaign is tons of fun so far. It’s like d&d stripped down to a super basic version where you have some innate class skills, then your gear determines the rest of your skills and abilities. Very rng but that just makes for good times with friends.
 
not playing but looking forward to Factorio: Space Age next month, Suikoden HD I&II Remaster next year (delayed sadly), and Sea of Stars DLC
 
Been playing Pokémon the Trading Card Game Live on the phone lately… lemme know if any of you wanna play some of my meme decks! Lol
