you're attempt to create a model for the community based on skill and wealth failed, considering some people have nothing and are the top dogs othewise.
If you do this you are not by (my) definition an elitist.most "elitists" and beyond are considered douchebags simply for giving you input and tipps on how to play the game.
I regularly gave freestuff to new players (v101s, v801s,200 mags, 50h charge gear, couple rares) in addition to "carrying" their runs and giving them tips on gameplay and economics, yet people thought me and my friends were the most vile people on earth back on schtserv.
I think they are in the veteran part but pretty much is depending on their wealth as well.What about the retired people?
