Quick question - Quick answer

Thanks! I was wondering if there were any tech bonuses, that's why I had to ask.

The only difference I would make is to allow removing RR for ADR or similar, and still max all offense stats. Just my preference though.

What's ADR? Thanks for the feedback btw. I'm also raising a Ramarl now, maybe anyone has a matplan suggestion there as well?

Antidark ring, boosts EDk by a ton. can be obtained through Tyrells ego for killing every enemy and beating the quest iirc.

My PC lags a little in CCA due to the fog. I remember that back on SCHT, Lee made a mod which removed the fog completely. Anyone know if something of that kind still exists?

Demon's Mech. Brute Force is better than Demon's Needle in like 80% of situations, but Demon's Mech can't really be bested when attacking the bigger enemies.

For ramar soloing, should I first get demons needle or demons mech? Mostly concerned with Ep's 1 and 4.

IMO you should get demon needles first. Arrest needle is nice to stay safe, and demon mechs can take down dorphons really fast, but demon needles can take down groups fast. You should try and get Demon, Hell, Arrest and Berserk/Spirit eventually but for ep1/4, i'd suggest demon needles.

Couple questions; 1) How does one get one of those Three Seals thingamajigs? and
2) What are some good force-specific items to look for in general? On this old Ephinea site it has a pretty good break down on the stats of each class, and a giant list of good weapons/armor for each one. Which is really great and stuff, except it doesn't have any recommended items at all for forces. >.<

I am wondering if there are any resources breaking down how to fight all of the monsters (videos or written guides or something)? I feel like I start to struggle when I move up in the difficulties and while fighting some monsters like gorans as a HUney.

For tech casting:
Magical Piece (VERY STRONG GIFOIE and gizonde ...and gibarta...)
Psycho Wand/Prophet of Motav (RA nuking, good luck on either)
Summit Moon
Mercurius Rod (GRANTZU)
Glide Divine (Jellen/Zalure and tagging for easy exp)
Tyrells Parasol (Shifta/Deband + Resta range, you can use Striker of Chao for FOnewm if you want but that has no Resta boost)
Merges (From my experience, you really only need Resta, Rafoie, Gifoie, Rabarta, Gizonde and Three Seals)
Ignition/Congeal/Tempest (Ignition probably gets used more than others)
MotherGarb/MG+
Other high def armors work too
v801
Adepts are nice to have, not always a necessity

For Melee:
Slicer of Fanatic (Use S-N-S glitch to whittle large groups)
Excalubir
Bringer's Rifle
High hit mechguns (preferably with sacrificial special)
High hit diskas (preferably with sacrificial special)
Guardianna (That 3rd hit is devastating)
S-rank Cards (with demon)
S-rank J-cutters (Hell, arrest)
Vivienne (females only)
V101
V502
Smartlink

I'm sure there is more, especially in the Melee area that I forgot. If you're in a good party, you don't even have to have all of these if your teammates can cover the other areas.

Demonic fork for non-foney piercing megid.

Bringer Rifle for melle can be good.

Okay my answers aren't quick but ...

I'm not aware of any, for the most part just ask experienced players. There was an article of sort about Gorans here.

General guidelines:
  • Learn how the enemy behaves when it's at a certain range to its targeted player, it's fairly predictable.
  • If you can hit it first, try to do a combo that will not make you vulnerable. This means sometimes you do not want to do a full combo. One trick is to suitably delay your attacks so each attack will stun the enemy; if you attack as fast as you can, sometimes you'll find your second attack does not stun the enemy and you'll get hit.
  • If you cannot hit it first, try to dodge its attack once, usually one or few step sideways/backward. And while it's recovering, do a combo without leaving yourself vulnerable, similar to previous point.

Three Seals is obtained from Coren. There's a post about how it works when Coren's was introduced on this server.

For Force items, refer to this thread. I don't recommend everything on the list but it's a good read. Things worth mentioning:
  • Not all tech boosts are that useful, the particular useful ones are: Glide Divine (Jellen/Zalure range), Magical Piece (Gi-boost), Psycho Wand (Ra-boost), Elemental Wands (a.k.a. Agni, Indra, Dagon, because the above two items are expensive/hard to get), Umbrella/Parasol/Striker of Chao/Marina's bag (for boosting range of various other support techs)
  • Melee weapons: class dependent. Demon's special is pretty good, Hell/Arrest depending on situation, and read up on what best direct damage weapons your class have.
  • Barriers: FO in particular benefits from Tech Merges. For the most part you can get away with just Red Merge for damage and Resta Merge for support. If you know you're going to focus on Gifoie, can get Gifoie Merge instead. Red Ring if you're meleeing. Some classes aren't that good with tech damage (FOmarl), so you don't need Red Merge that much; some classes are already good with Resta range (FOmarl/FOnewearl) and you can skip Resta Merge.
