Maybe try Peppercat's guide, which is a little more straightforward. Why do I feel so dumb?
I'm not sure how to install this... I'm following the instructions, but I feel a little lost still.

I think posting here is fine. However, the best course of action would be to submit a pull request to the forked repo. That way, @Esc would have the opportunity to review your changes, make suggestions for alterations, and choose whether to incorporate your changes into his repo. Not sure if this is the best place to post it but I made a bunch of improvements to the hbrscoreviewer addon and I wanted to share.

These addons will also work with clients for servers besides Ephinea, so not just Ephinea. Did you also extract the addons folder into the same folder as dinput8.dll?Im having issues even getting this to run. Is it just for Ephinea client? I havent added any addons just yet I extracted it into the PSOBB client folder and when launching it says failed to load init.lua
Here's a helpful post.I've only just started using addons and i was wondering if there is a way to apply a filter to item reader.
As in "only show non-rare with 40+ hit", "only show lv29+ disks" or "don't show me Angry fists", kind of like "Path of Exile" does.
I haven't read through all of this thread, and i couldn't find anything in the search, so apologies if this has been answered before.
So, uhm, how do I make the green bar and player's name disappear from PlayerReader? I really like the s/d tracker on top of the actual buffs but I just can't make it happen
You'd have to edit the addon yourself, i had done that for the dark glass HUD but the plugins got updated since then.
I'd like to say that I could do this myself but...I think I'm going to need the hands of someone who actually knows what he's doing >_<
TLDR: Halp!
You should probably ask here: https://www.pioneer2.net/community/threads/psobb-addon-plugin-lua-ui-addons.4543/
There's a lot of people doing great things with the addons .
Personally i'm not willing to tweak them anymore, skinning takes me a lot of time already plus you have to edit the addons each time you update them.
Here are the functions that handle rendering for the Player Reader addon. And here I am, looking for help. Thanks @Echelon for the replies.
You are my new favourite person on planet Earth! Here are the functions that handle rendering for the Player Reader addon.
Individual player windows:
https://github.com/Solybum/PSOBBMod-Addons/blob/master/Player Reader/init.lua#L208
All players window:
https://github.com/Solybum/PSOBBMod-Addons/blob/master/Player Reader/init.lua#L165
For the individual player windows, you just have to remove or comment the code between lines 242 and 246. For the all players window, you need to change the number of columns on line 169 and then remove or comment the appropriate lines of code between lines 183 and 204.
someone help with this pleaseCan someone please help me find out why I can't get he addons main menu to even show up in game? I've placed everything right I assure you. I also downloaded and installed VC++ redis x86.
Only thing I can assume is that my problem is that I'm running online.exe through wine stable(on a macbook), and that's preventing VC redist from running the addons and the addons main menu. But I don't know if there's a fix for this or something I did wrong. Has anyone successfully used addons while running online.exe through wine stable?
Help would be greatly appreciated, been trying to figure out the problem myself for the past 2 days
Here's some screenshots of my directory and the addons folder:
