    I don’t understand seasonal play. There isn’t any rewards from playing it other than cosmetic stuff, so it seems like a waste of time to me... I can always create new characters, so... what is the appeal?

    no particular appeal other than the fact that more players come back for seasons so it's easier to get a 4man group to grind. also the guaranteed 6 piece starter set is kinda nice too.

    I did the season on console just to try necro out. Ill return to my old wizard whenever i play diablo again. All the gems i leveled up are gonna be nice.

    Nah, I don't really do anything anymore. I'm on break. I may or may not return to working on the server. I've left everything to Tofuman and Matt.

    I've got a lot of stuff I'm dealing with now re: life and kind of stressed a bit, so... needed to step away for my health!

    happy birthday! thank you for running this server. over the past few years i've really grown to appreciate hobbyists who have taken it upon themselves to keep their passions alive. have you ever considered creating a patreon? i understand that hosting services aren't too expensive nowadays, and that there are people who will cry "DONATIONS R SLIPRY SLOPE", but i truly think you deserve *some* form of compensation.

    it would entirely be of one's own volition to contribute. (and, personally, i would keep my name anonymous.) i wouldn't think about it as taking donations to run ephinea, but rather a small thanks for your contributions to PSO's community as a whole. thank you again, please consider it! i'm sure there are others that feel the same way.

    Hosting this server is now about $120 a month (~$60 for Fodra, $20 for the web server, $20 for Auldrant and $20 for Lumireis.)

    Tofu pays Lumireis, so I look at $1,200 a year to host the server. I will admit, sometimes when I think about the money I could save by not paying for it, I wonder why I do... haha! But as long as you guys and gals are happy, I suppose it's fine.

    When I can no longer afford to pay for the server, I'll probably set up a donation button through Nfoservers. Doing a button this way puts the donated money into some sort of bucket where I can't touch the money at all and it's strictly used to pay for the server before the charges hit my credit card.
