Quick question - Quick answer

Excuse me, your not very funny. Alot of the HC players enjoy and play all the difficult quests, they just learn them, practise and go in prepared (or die). Roct is actually a fun quest. I feel people play the harder quests specifically for a challenge and nothing else thus need nothing else to benefit from.

What bank reader options are there? For some reason Soly's PSOBB Reader crashes for me, I'm looking for an alternative.

RoCT is not getting buffed, giving it some sort of "useful" reward would mean it would get spammed to high heaven. The quest isn't so difficult once you learn all the blindspots and places to stand (which would end up being in a guide if the quest gave good rewards), so giving it a guaranteed PD as a reward (for example) would mean PDs would start flooding the economy as people learn it and constantly do it.

Unless you can think of a reward worse than a PD people would be interested in.

EDIT: I'll explain more about what I mean about RoCT "not being so hard" since I'm sure people will argue:

See, Raid on Control Tower is a quest which features layered spawns as its primary feature. This means that there are multiple spawn lines in many rooms, so you have:

1 Delbiter and 1 Mericarol spawn
Kill Delbiter → 2 Gibbles and Gi Gue spawn
Kill Mericarol → 5 Recoboxes and Epsilon spawn

As an example (this isn't an actual spawn in the quest, but it should give you a good picture).

If you treat RoCT as a puzzle quest rather than a quest where you just walk in blitzing everything, the quest becomes trivial as you just kill particular enemies and leave certain ones roaming around behind walls or on the opposite end of rooms while you pick off singular enemies. Stand in all the right places as well so enemies can't hit you (for example, in one of the dark floors, if you stand in the corner next to the entrance door, the Meri that spawns in the first spawn is unable to hit you) and you're basically just playing a puzzle quest you need to execute correctly.

This means if the quest ended up giving a "really good reward for its difficulty", this would mean people would begin to learn how to do this quest consistently to be able to farm that good reward, and we can't really be having that.

People who run in blazing in RoCT think the quest is hard, but anyone who knows the quest know that it really isn't that hard.

What is arguably the best armor for a RAmarl? I was thinking of going with Lieutenant Mantle for the built in trap vision.. but other than that the stats look kinda crummy.

Probably Aura field? If theres a better one someone tell me too lol

Personally I'd say Lieutenant Mantle or Stealth Suit are the best for RAmarl.

Lt. Mantle's stats are pretty good though, I mean it has 216 DFP (or something) which is definitely not a small amount (AF max is 285, not that much more).

Stealth Suit stops the rubberbanding that happens with ranged weaponry sometimes, most notably mechguns.

Already ways to farm PDs pretty efficiently, but not the place to debate.

I'm gonna make a solo character and I want them to have an ID that gives them basically a whole area or episode to run around in with a good chance of finding usable items. Ep4 Redria looks like a good bet to me, with several great items to find in basically any location, but I was wondering if anyone had another suggestion?

Whitill Ep4 and to a lesser extent Ep2 are also gr8 8/8

Redria or Yellow EP1
For Episode 2 I'd do Yellowboze or Bluefull. Could make an argument for Skyly or Oran tho.
In episode 4 every ID has really good items throughout the episode IMO.

All around goodstuff allepisodes would be Yellowboze
