Quick question - Quick answer

Can someone please explain to me how to understand shield stats and how they are presented the trade forum? It is beyond me.

Merci!
Lieutenant Mantle [17/21 | 18/18]

Lieutenant Mantle [actual def/possible max def | actual evp/possible max evp]
Sheilds are the same.

You can always look at the wiki for specific items, using realnabarls example (Lieutenant Mantle) it will say 195-216 DFP and EVP 126-144, these numbers are the armours stats which add directly to your characters stats but that variation is the min/max possible mentioned above.

As for the addons: https://www.pioneer2.net/community/threads/psobb-addon-plugin-lua-ui-addons.4543/

Donwload the 1st Link for the main program stuff, and then you go into players githhubs for their addons/packs. You should get Soly's DLL also.

I like to apologize in advance for being so keen on the details such that this question isn't as quick as they usually are, but I was wondering how reliable the proposed information for new character mag colors are on this server based on the posts in this forum.

For example, I made a RAcast with a red costume from row 3, and the mag was blue instead of fuchsia; I recreated the same character to repeat the same result to discover that it's not a fluke. Next, I searched for any answers to this strange occurrence, and I saw all these posts linked in a search results page linked below:

https://www.pioneer2.net/community/search/23573905/?q="mag+colour"&t=post&o=date&c[node]=20+32+33+39+44

I even took the qwerty pix from this post and compared it to Soly's spoiler text for "New mag color list" from this post, but I still don't understand where this slightly correct information comes from since I didn't obtain what was predicted in either source. Who has the mag colors figured out? I suppose Spuz can update the "Mag Colours" spoiler at the end of this pinned guide for mags once this is all sorted out.

I was thinking about going in myself to do 7*4*2=56 character creations for all 4 androids for row three costumes mag color results twice just to make sure I don't have any random mag color flukes, but maybe somebody else has the correct information.

Update: It's fixed thanks to Sodaboy; that RAcast mag is now fuchsia instead of blue.

PS: Please spell it like fuchsia, not fuschia. I have attached a modified version of the unitxt.lua file myself in a zip file in this post called Colorful Addon Modifications.

The server code for picking mag colors was incorrect and had been since inception.

I just got around to updating it now, so it should be doing mag colors correctly on character creation.

When changing section ID's, I understand the command is "/modsecid x" with X being the section ID.

Just wanted to confirm, that if for example of wanted to change to YellowBoze the command would be "/modsecid YellowBoze"?

I'm sure it's not case sensitive, and please be sure to spell check the Section ID though.

Yes, the worst that happens is you that wait three months for nothing by inputting the wrong Section ID, and the next worst thing is nothing happens really. Here's a good idea: You can create a new character to practice using it risk-free. I was about to do it myself the other day since I felt as unsure about the command's reliability as you felt.

I'm trying to do some digging to find out where the name came from, did you also know that the poison bushes and the traps in Ruins have names too?

The poison bush is called グァーダ (Guada? Gwada? Something like that) and the trap is called グァーム (Guam? Gloom (although Gloom is グルーム)?).
I highly suspect they are onomatopoeic words.

Guom (グォーム) is the sound of a Buddhist temple big bell being knocked. Like this:

Gwada (グァーダ) is the sound of stepping on something wet but also gassy (step in "gwa", step out "da").

1.Is special altering on weapons in Sandbox mode allowed?
2.Is it normal being unable to sell rare weapons, armors, shields and other?

1. If you mean using the /item command and designating a weapon with a different special, like a Yasminkov 9000m with charge or something, then yes you can do that. I'm not sure which weapons+specials actually work though.
2. Yes, it was a change here long time ago. Those rare items sell for only 10 meseta anyway, so selling them is probably not something you ever wanted to do.

Thank you for the answers.

I've been gone for a while and am looking to get back into the game. I want to play a HUcaseal solo mode however I've been reading around and it appears in order to do Ultimate Mode efficiently certain S-Ranks are needed; specifically the Slicer/J-Cutters for Zalure. Thing is, I've never really done Challenge Mode and have no idea how to go about it or what class I should make for it. Is there a group or something people use to form Challenge Mode parties? Would greatly appreciate any assistance.
