Quick question - Quick answer

I think even just copy pasting the item kiosk thing in Phantasmal World #4 and putting it in pioneer 2 would be lovely

OMG, is this like a quest where all items are available in the item shop at all time (sol, monomates, monofluids, etc.)??? n.n
If I remember correctly, it had all items available that you can feed to a mag in the Tools Shop. When you select the NPC, it would bring up a menu that looked something like this:

[Monomate]
[Dimate]
[Trimate]
[Monofluid]
[Difluid]
[Trifluid]
[Antidote]
[Antiparalysis]
[Sol Atomizer]
[Moon Atomizer]
[Star Atomizer]

Then it would being up another menu after your selection with the following options to choose how many of that item you would like to purchase:

[1]
[3]
[9]

Schtserv has The Mag Farm, but the quest was broken for Sols (and also Stars iirc). When you selected Sol Atomizers, you would instead end up purchasing Difluids.

It worked fine for mates and fluids.

It sounds a bit disappointing quite frankly. Not being to buy 10 of an item would more or less fuck up your items order for mag feeding when you feed 3 mags. Or when you're feeding an ammount that's not 1, 3 or 9... >_>

It was too good to be true. ;_;

Right, I'm sure it could be easily edited to have selected amount from 1-10, or perhaps even to drop the items nearby on the floor when purchased

Soda has changed this already, the tool shop will now have all items available to you along with 3 random techniques regardless of your level.

This change is up on Lumireis and will be up on Auldrant/Fodra sometime tomorrow when activity is less.

The rotating shop was honestly bad design and scrapped in all later installments of Phantasy Star, plus you still need the meseta anyway.

This answers my question literally 110%. Things like this are exactly why I choose Ephinea over other servers.

Ephinea is definitely qol. It's why many of us love it.

Nope. Doesn't work in blue burst. The roll for the mob being rare was done on the server and won't be repeated when you re-enter the area.

I have have been trying to get addons to work, and I seem to have got the Drop checker to work so I figured I would get the character reader and enemy reader aswell but something went wrong. I did everything correctly to my knowledge and in the log of th e main UI addon thing it shows that several of the addons are loaded but do not appear on my screen, Any idea what happened?

EDIT: figured it out

Which areas are you able to find pattern 5 non-rares in?
unknown.png

4 in the table is "Pattern 5", as it counts from 0 to 4.
Difficulty is assumed to be Ultimate. I believe the table is the same for the other two episodes, just have to align them properly.

e.g. Forest 1 = Temple Alpha, Forest 2 = Temple Beta, Caves 1 = Spaceship Alpha, Caves 2 = Spaceship Beta, Caves 3 = Jungle North, etc..

(E4 actually has one less area, which mean its last area, "Boss" a.k.a. meteor impact site, probably has the same pattern as Ruins 2/Seabed Upper.)

Edit: some red HUcast guy told me E4 data might have the first two rows skipped. If so, the proper alignment for E4: Crater East = SS Alpha, Crater West = SS Beta, ..., Desert 3 = "Boss" = Seabed Lower.

Thank you! Do you know if the "Percents" are equal? So for Ruins 1 (assuming its the same as CCA) you would have a 33% chance for the drops to be "4"s?
I believe each "percent" rolls once, so for Ruins 1, exactly one of the %s came from "4", provided it didn't roll "None" first.

(For each percent, there is a roll which decides which area it is: None, Native, A. Beast, Machine, Dark, Hit. It is possible that the "4" percent ends up rolling "None".)

Havent played this in over a decade.
Is there a way to quickly swap weapons? I remember there being something.

And is there a way to bind the shortcut 1-0 keys to a controller somehow? the two sets of 3 buttons each arent enough.

Ctrl+End on keyboard. For my controller, it's Right Bumper+Y (Xbox controller).

Xpadder, Joy2Key, or Antimicro I've downloaded and tried.

I prefer Antimicro the most. Here's a download link for it if you want to try it!
