New to Ephinea -- Returning PSO Veteran ♥

Hey, everyone! I just wanted to introduce myself, since a friend recently renewed my interest in playing PSO again, on Ephinea.

Some of you may or may not already know me from past PSO games -- I always play a blonde-haired, purple-clad FOmarl named Alena Zouryx -- but otherwise I go by Taryn, and I've been playing PSO and every iteration of the series since the original Dreamcast version. I've also been a member of the PSO-World.com forums since 2002, so fellow OGs will likely know me from there, as well.

I only ever played PSOBB on schtHack (I think that's what it was called...?) so I'm excited to reconnect with the amazing PSO community and make some new friends along the way.

Anyhoo, feel free to say hello, especially if you see me in-game, as I'll be starting completely fresh -- so help will certainly be appreciated!

EEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeee~!!! *POUNCES and Hugs a little more respectfully than others she usually gushes over~!* AAAaand yet another Original Old Guard Dreamcaster has fallen victim to the Topless Siren's song of Nostalgia and washes up on our little tribe's shore! Mew may has the attention span of a Potato Chip, but Unique names she remembers for Decades! Unless she's associating your name hanging around Aleron Ives~? MOST if not All of us here are SCHTHACK refugee/Survivors that Soda-samas has so graciously given a Loving Home to~! So chances of you bumping into an old Battle Buddy are pretty good! Before our server Wiki came up, mew had been refurring players to PSO-WORLD for 23/24 years now~! Mew might has an Orphaned MIND MAG in need of a loving home if she spots you before any of our other Guardian Angel types gets their paws on you first! >=3! Looking Forward to Pouncing and Playing wiff you, too! Welcome HOME~!! <3!

Your mew usually comes out of her kitty coffin at Midnight EST. So is mew looking for an FO by the name of Alena-san? =3
 
Welcome!~ If Mew is handing u a mind mag you may need some techs to pair with them. I've got a couple of lv29s I can throw your way. Namely-- Foie, Rafoie, Barta, Gibarta, Rabarta, Zonde, GiZonde, Razonde, Jellen, Zalure, and a 30 Resta. Just let me know when you typically play and we can meet up :D

Also it may seem your MST may not be high enough to learn them even with the mag.... That'll be fixed in a couple runs :3


Edit: .....also did I by chance already run into u last night while I was losing my mind leveling several of my mags? We possibly did an EN3?

Sadly, turned out mew had an orphaned POW MAG....not a MIND MAG....Alena-san was however able to learn a few mission critical techs while borrowing mew's Mind maggy =3. Can prolly guess Alena-san can Still use Any spare techs you wanna throw at them~? >=3!

Probably, yeah! I've been running it a lot since it's this week's RBR. Mew helped me snag a good amount of high-level techs as well, now I've just gotta do lots of leveling and I'll be good to go. Everyone's been so nice and helpful, it's been a really lovely homecoming! :D

Good to hear. I'm typically on past 7pm EST or the weekends so if u search me up feel free to ping me. And if u are the individual I ran into I said in game the community likes to make sure people are comfy. I've only been here for a little over a month now and have only had 1 questionable experience. Don't be afraid to ask for help, I've never had someone seem demeaning or unhelpful when I've indicated I didn't know. The wiki is also an excellent source to look up some information on things. The discord is also a great place for questions and trades if that's your style.

*Protectively Cradles her Safety Heart she's had for nearly 9 years now~!* However mew DOES has a few of these items she can surrender in her toybox! Thirteen...Madam's stuff, Wedding dress, aaaaand Smartlink to name a few. =3! When mew next pounces you in lobby or spots you in a room...we can dive her toybox together~! >=3

It's nice to meet you! I am Zan Zanryu. You can call me Zan.
I had experience for the first time in the GC version, then later in BB, since the open access of private servers like Schthack.
It's good to see players coming towards Ephinea, playing together, and forming teams such as groups in your user base. :)
I used to be called Zan since Schthack, but oh well... At least I have gotten stronger now, with help from Mew and other hunters! :3
I hope you enjoy staying here!
I'm trying to get my other friends to join here, too... But it's hard and for reasons alone... :P

Hello! The name Taryn sounds familiar. I'm mot sure if we ever played together but I used to play on schtHack mainly with my RAcaseal Uzume, and sometimes with my FOnewearl Marle and HUcaseal SWAGcaseal xD

I'm making a return to Ephinea after playing for a while in 2020. Not sure why I took such a long break but during that time, I hanged out on NGS but ehhh..lol PSOBB has a chokehold on me(plus I love the community ❤️)so I'll be around if you ever want to play. I'm also starting out again recreating Uzume as my main for now. Happy hunting!
