Hey everyone! I'm so happy to have found this server, it's been so long since I played PSO on GC and so much nostalgia... I never really made it to end-game or anything, but I enjoyed FO then with some buddies. I tend to gravitate towards mage/healer classes in MMOs, but since it's rather difficult to start out as a fresh FO, I decided to work on a RAmarl for now. Now I don't know if I want to peel myself away from her! :D Anyways, hope to see you guys around and stuff.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! Another Nostalgia victim!!! <3! Yes, FOs not only start off EXTRA SQUISHY...but are DIRT POOR TOO!....So a lot of ppl will often start another character to halp get monies....techs and gear for their FOs. You'll also be happy to know RAmarls are often looked upon as substitute FO's in a pinch since they have the full spectrum of supports up to tech level 20! So your Femranger can be a pocket FO too! win/win! Looking forward to pouncing and playing wiff you too! Welcome Home! =3

I figured if I was gonna play a non-FO, I'd go with one close to it, but what I didn't realize is how adaptable she can be, from high cc to actually doing damage to helping s/d/j/z and stuff if needed. My only gripe so far is with how slow some of the gun animations are, but I'm hoping a God/Battle or something? might change that. I'm still learning so much about this game, I'm surprised! Didn't think I'd be back to the PSO grind after so long though, really. :D

Your mew will be More than happy to halp with both of your endeavors dear! As we type, Mew is working on an orphaned DEX/MIND mag in need of a loving home! As for slow gun animations...some Heavy or AOE rocket launchers are purrposely slow to keep from becoming OP and ruining the game. Stuff like Spread Needle, Last Swan, Heaven Striker, and Heaven Punisher are fast by nature with little recoil animations slowing things down. Mech guns will fire Hella faster with high tier /Battle units.too! ♡

I've recently grown more fond of mech guns and that's exactly what I'm looking for... that'd be handy! Especially now that I'm learning when/how to use berserk effectively, not standing there for so long after a combo would keep me from dying as much. As far as my FO, I'll let you know when I'm ready to start him up.

Edit: Dex/Mind? I'm not sure that'd be as helpful for my RAmarl right now, maybe there's a better home out there for it? Thank you though, I appreciate all the help. Question though: I thought bazookas were supposed to be multi-target, does an Inferno Bazooka not count? Mine's only hitting single targets.

Inferno Bazooka is pretty weak and considered eye and ear candy maybe. PSO-World.com has it listed as a "Shot" so stuff prolly needs to be Close together? Tell you what, if mew doesnt pounce you right away, she'll try to save one of her larger Boom sticks for you! You'll prolly be happier with it! =3. Mew may has a decent/battle unit to halp wiff your mech lust too! The thing with the DEX/MIND mag is you can juggle it between two classes to keep you Sane early on, til you make a specialized one later for your Endgame. <3

I'd be more than happy to take a sub-par one until I find something better, or I could start hunting one down since I've been hunting down random low-level things... I suppose I can pull myself away from searching for other random rares and stuff. The wandering tekker has been so helpful too! Yuffie's offering me a battle unit so I'm covered there, and I have a couple extra tablets if you'd like one? I just thought mechs were awful until I realized I just needed some more ATP and ATA, but now I'm trying to get used to the longer animation compared to that sweet handgun one she has. That, and this lovely berserk mechanic that I avoided like the plague makes soloing so much more... interesting. :D I'm trying to decide if I should grind a M&A 60 Vice for now or save my grinders for a better weapon, I already wasted a couple on other weapons but I don't know how often they come at higher levels or how easy they are to farm.

Okies, purrfect! We just need to coordinate when or where your mew can pop up! Can tell already its gonna be a lil tricky to come in contact with eachother huh? The 'sweet handgun' one Yuffies has is prolly the smexy Last Swan. Even without hit%, they can be devestating! XD! ZERKING certainly has its perks...it definately keeps MEW busy and on her toes when supporting a zealous group of zerkers! =P

I meant my RAmarl but now I gotta find a bucket for my drool, that Last Swan looks so perfect! Gonna go ahead and add that to my wishlist right now... I suppose I can come out of hiding sometime, I'm usually either afk or doing a solo run or something. I'm so not used to the O part of PSO just yet. :D

Edit: Ahah, just found the Ephinea Discord page, that should make it a bit easier.

I'm the opposite, I like to get up front and hack my way through.

Poke your head out from your solo game(s) once in a while, so we can greet you in-game.
