I hate when games are developed with eSports as the immediate goal.

I really don't enjoy any kind of "eSports" games. Games like Overwatch, Dota 2, LoL, CS:GO, etc I just can't get behind or enjoy. I can stand Starcraft 2 though, since there's other things to do on it besides online multiplayer.

I dunno if Overwatch was specifically designed for eSports. They never developed a solid spectating mode for the game which if they had eSports in mind you think they'd create that first. Overwatch is a cousin to TF2. Simple as that. eSports is the future, every game will try to push onto the eSports scene because you never know what could be the next League of Legends.
