Hello , i am Rook303 a 47 years old french guy, i joined on April 2nd 2022.

i know i should have introduced myself earlier but well...

A couple months ago i downloaded the born-dead Phantasy Star Idola on Ipad.
It took me only a few minutes to figure out how lame this PTW Gacha adaptation is.

Though it triggered on me a nostalgic feeling about PSO.

I already played this game on Dreamcast (mostly offline) and also (a lot) on Schtserv during its glorious days.

I was sad to see Schtserv was not anymore very populated and got even sadder when i realized they erased all existing accounts.

So after a quick internet research i decided to join Ephinea ( which appeared to have a solid admin team) for a few hours of old good time play.

What i wasn't expecting is how this wonderful game would hook me hard again, even after all these years !

Because we are now talking about hundreds of hours playing on Ephinea.

I love the little improvments Ephinea team added to the game in order to make it easier and funnier( shared xp , HBR, individual drops ...) but with an infinite respect for the original material.(No changes in gameplay)

So thank you Ephinea team, i am glad i joined!

For now i play 3 different characters : lv 15x Hucast : Robrok , lv 16x Ramarl : Rooka , lv 3x Fonewearl : Rooket

EEEeeeeee! *POUNCES and looks over Rookies wiff a giggle~!* Glad to see you made your way to the Intro thread, Rookies! Think mew had already pounced you once before in game, hasn't she? Yes, MOST if not All of us here are Also Schthack refugee/survivors! Thus, WHY' scht is so.....'empty'. By chance have you bumped into any old faces~? Welcome Home! =3

Thanks for the warm welcome Mew and you are right , Mercy assembled a Summit Moon for me a few days ago.
Well, i didn't have the chance to meet old faces (besides you) and i doubt my old teammates from Ark such as Gamma or Bebop are still hanging around.
nevermind, i am having good fun with random people i am playing alongside .
i feel like there is a good spirit on this server, people i meet are all gentle , kind and very friendly.

Mew likes to think SHE'S the reason why the community is so...'warm and fuzzy'! If Anyone is a Troll or Asshat to our family, your mew WILL hear about it! There are no 'official' rules to players being jerks or just abrasive...But, that doesn't stop a certain Momma Cat from going 'Rogue' and hasing a little nurturing Chat with them >=3! <3

I believe you Mew, but i arrived very recently.
I am not yet in position to appreciate all your qualities as a GM.
What i can tell you is that i really enjoyed our first meeting , with your pretended (or not) disconnection right after you dropped the merged Summit Moon at my feet.
I still can't tell if it was an act or not.
anyway, It was hilarious !

Nu nu nuuuu~!! It was TOTALLY Legit lag issue! Mew had dropped the Summit and was typing something to the effect of "TADAaaaa!" or something else quippy! But the moment her chat bubble didn't go up...she was like..."Oh gods...nu...nu....NNNNnnnuuUUUuUuUuUuuu!!! Mew relogged with every intention of pilfering her own toybox to grab a moola and buy a decent club+ thingy to make up for any lost toys! =PpPPpP',',','

awww , that' s very touching and kind but you wouldn't had to bother , i am pretty sure a i got a spare Moola and a decent club somewhere.

It reminds me (back on Schthack) the scream i uttered when i sold at the shop a hell raygun 50 hit of my inventory by accident. "NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!"
