Joining up and diving back into PSOBB

Hey all,

Recently joined the server and am getting back into the swing of things PSO-related. Played on another PSOBB server way back in the day (I... don't remember which one) but had a blast messing around on it.

I'm not new to the game, used to play the GC version a ton with a bunch of my friends and as I said, previously dabbled on another PSOBB server but never really went too far into end-game. So I'm kind of a newbie-veteran? If that even makes sense?

Anyhow, I'm stoked to be diving back into PSO again and am looking forward to bumping into you all sometime in-game. Gonna be running a HUcast for my first character while I grind through difficulties and get my bearings.

I'll be wandering around as 'Con' most likely, so if you see me, feel free to say hello!

Same as you, been in the PSO world since DC and GC and landed back here a few years back now :)

More like enjoying the journey rather than the destination, and hoping you have a good time here!

Thanks! I appreciate it. Been messing around and getting used to how the server is setup.

I think I've got everything setup the way I want now, just gotta get that grind on and level up.

Any tips for a newbie on power levelling to get closer to endgame faster?

Excellent!
There should be some Level Up Rooms open in the Lobby, basically grind one difficulty after the other until Lv80 for Ultimate :)
Shouldn't take too long to be honest.

If you get some PDs to spend you can try to get a weapon with some Hit and/or a Mag levelled up.
Also a 4 slot armor and some Power Unit could help you speed up a bit to level up.
Should be able to find people selling that for mesetas.

After that it's just a matter of going out there and flexing them muscles :D

Sounds like a plan! Appreciate the advice. I'll be hopping in later this evening to get in a good grind sesh.


Shouldn't take me too long to get fully oriented in-game and know what I should be working on/doing. So far loving how nice this community has been. :)
 
I'm glad to hear that!
People are pretty nice on this server, so i'm sure parties you join will help you out.
And i am certain we will meet some day!

The discord is a good and lively place to meet, organise parties and ask advises for a quicker response as well, if you use this.

I’m always happy to help powerlvl n00bs… can get 1-80 in about 2 hours lol. Just let me know what times you’re on my schedule is pretty tight I’m only on around 10 pm pst+

I'm usually gaming in the evening as well, around 8 or 9 PST -> 1/2AM.
