Alt-Tab issues (New Player)

Hello everyone,
I read the FAQ and and the Readme and couldn't find this issue so I thought about opening a new thread.
When I alt-tab, the game shuts down / crashes (no error).

These are the steps I followed, hope I didn't forget anything:
  • Set the PSOBB folder to exception on my antivirus to solve the DLL download issue
  • Set run mode to Admin
  • Set compatibility mode to Windows XP SP2
  • Playing in 1920x1080 fullscreen (it's my screen res)
  • Set everything to high-end and then the draw distance to max and fog mode to Vertex
  • Running on Windows 10 PRO with an Intel i7 3770 and GeForce 1070, 16GB system ram

Are you running in classic fullscreen? If so, disable that.

If you keep "Windowed" mode not selected in the options, the game will still run in fullscreen and you should be able to alt-tab.
 
Yes "Classic Fullscreen" was on and "Window mode" was off.
I tried to swap the choices and now I can alt-tab just fine but the game is in a window and not fullscreen.
Not sure if I explained myself o_O
