@Retty has found 11 presents in the same runs I've found 2.
 
Not bothering with HBR.

But with Val event rates I'll be hunting a hit lame, hit Zanba, 502(s) Limiter(s) and whatever else I fancy.

Not bothering just because EP2 drops aren't that great? Or you just don't need much from there?
 
Well, SJS just dropped for me in that HBR... don't be fooled
Zanba can be hunted from mu4 as well :).
 
I'm not bothering because, the event already gives decent RDR/DAR. And if I hbr I can only spam those specific quests for boosts we already have elsewhere. Just my opinion. I'll be doing what I feel like, doesn't mean you shouldn't hbr, because more gain is always great :3
