Unable to sell item in the shop (resolved)

I picked up a ???gungnir in a WoL3 run earlier and tekked it to sell it.
I took it to the shop and saw I wasn't able to sell it, as it doesn't appear in the list of items to sell.

I've since transferred it to another character via my shared bank and am still unable to sell it with that character.

I haven't tried to repeat it, but will try with other ???weapons and edit the post to reflect my findings.
Not that this is game breaking apart from decluttering and earning some meseta, but it's not as it should be, right?
