I've really enjoyed this server and the community on and off for awhile now but it's obvious to me it's best I be done. Many of you I've played with and known as far back as Schthacks during my Casuals days and the PSO community has always been far and away better than most net communities so I'm thankful for all of that.
After complaining about the username Nagger, asking the user to change it politely before lvl 20, and asking to GM's to resolve the issue I was told I was taking it too far, being overly sensitive apparently, and was provided with the definition of the word nagger multiple times (thanks guys as if telling me I'm overly sensitive about the N word wasn't enough you also felt the need to educate me on the word nagger). At best the user is uninformed, though I'm not sure how that could happen considering this is 2018 and usernames like Nagger and Figgot are common place in gaming communities which typically harbor all kinds of bigots, and at worst he is purposefully sword dancing around a username one letter off from a racial slur. The real issue to me is how the people running the server responded though. The GM's make, interpret, and enforce the rules and community rules are always a bit ambiguous and it's their jobs to regulate that, but again apparently a simple name change is way too much for something so small as one member of the communities comfort.
Anyway enjoy your item begging new user Nagger. I wish everyone the best and if I feel the need to play again on another server I'll reach out to those of you who I've known awhile to let you know my username and on which server.
