I would is there a way to switch character sand box mode to hardcore mode and normal mode modifications

consider this as a suggestion

Absolutely not. The 3 modes are fundamentally different. Freely swapping between the 3 modes will allow a player to take advantage of each mode's functions.

But if you mean if it's possible then that's a yes.

HC mode recently received the function to play in normal mode games. Here's a rundown of the differences.

Normal:Vanilla
HC:character deletion upon death. (Can easily head to normal to farm scape dolls from quest rewards)
Sandbox:this is basically cheat mode were a player can use an item maker to generate anything you want.

Melting down the borders basically makes this schtserv.
