I wouldn't get a min/max mag until you are high level like 180+ until then get a mag that will help max your ATA and ATP/MST earlier.

It also depends on your class. A min max mag might not be best for you, like Ellrick was saying, but if you're Racast they use a 5/148/47/0 mag for min/maxing, which would also still be great for lvling purposes.
