I've never even heard of "Black Gauntlets", so it's not one of our presents, lol. Maybe Matt got confused with some other server's custom item or something.

They were referenced a while ago on SCHTServ in 2009 as well, and nobody had any idea what they were.

Probably some unreleased item that nobody ever found (for some reason).

Black Gauntlets you mean? I think that's an ace idea tbh. Not something that affects gameplay, is already in the coding so easy to implement/release (afaik), and can be used as event reward to release it or somthing!
