Increase the number of possible characters in the party name.

Hi everyone,

I don't want a ridiculous party name that's full of expository nonsense (like the preceding sentence), but it would be nice to lengthen it a bit. 30 characters maybe?

That way I can be very specific about what we're doing, for example:

"MAE Redria Desert + FO"

Currently, I'd have to use a number of abbreviations and cut out spaces to do this.

Thanks. I hope this is considered.

Didn't we HAS slightly longer characters back on Dreamcast era? X3!

I'm also interested in this, though if I remember correctly, the subject's come up before and there's some kind of hard limit that's difficult (impossible as we know it?) to circumvent.

Same as with everything else, is just a PIA to mess with all that.
Like the character name (although the character name had some useless chars that could be used), I don't think that's possible with the lobby names.

Dreamcast and GameCube limit team names to 14 characters, while PSO PC limits team names to 12 characters.

The problem with changing this type of thing is that you have to change the size of a packet, which means patching all the places where that packet's size is assumed to be the default value.

i was just thinking about posting this today. definitely seems worth having, but i guess i wouldnt know whether its worth doing
