Hey All!,

I'd like to introduce you to a new psobb addon that I made which will change the game when it comes to searching item drops. So you know how after clearing CAL's clock or MAE or event quests how 50 item drops will be all over the floor and you have to go around by each one to see what it is? Yea... let's put an end to that noise. With this addon you'll be able to filter and see item drops that you care about and you'll see exactly where it is - in the game!

Features:
  • Customizable item category filters and name displays
  • Select the item highlighter color and box thickness
  • Don't show monomate, monofluid, and other consumables when player inventory is full
  • Only highlight drops with enough hit or only show when meseta is more than 500, 1000, or 2k.
  • Hide useless non-rare items from showing

Check this out:

So Get Out There and Get Huntin!

Get it on Github:

Check out the front page in github, You'll see in more detail exactly what it does with .gif videos in the "Demos" section.

If you're getting this error after installing, make sure your soly addons (Floor reader, item reader, monster reader, ect) are up to date!

error in image is: attempt to call field 'GetResolutionWidth' (a nil value)

VERY NICE! Thank you for your work!
Is it possible to add a Show Current Room Only function (like in Monster Reader)? I tried, and I couldn't get it to work.
I noticed a bug. Show Stats in Name is deselected, but I still see Barrier's stats.

Thanks for your feedback, I patched that Show Name on Common Barriers to work correctly now. I'll have to take a look at that possibility for filtering items in current room only. If the item structs has data on which room the item is currently in, it could be something to add.

#ThankGod I had an idea... If you're able to track the positions of items and have information float above that item, would it be possible to add that to Monster Reader? I did a crappy mockup. You could turn all the display options on and off and make the window see-through if you want.1731269162611.png

Yes, that's very possible to do, I'd just worry about fps dropping if there are too many boxes to show. 3-5 boxes max should be fine though. Another thing is enemy heights for all the enemy models. Would need that data to get the box positions correct.

I don't mean any disrespect, displaying stuff on top of the mobs looks awesome, but is it a good idea ? At first thought I don't see any real use.

I'm not sure either I fully understand you or you understand googleybonker's suggestion. The idea behind displaying a monster's info above their head is a more natural approach many other games take to reveal details about the monster, rather than playing spreadsheet simulator psobb flavor. The item reader, and monster reader are killer apps as they reveal info while playing the game you don't otherwise have access to, but its time to introduce some alternatives that I and many others find more intuitive and natural.

Thanks for the explanation. I like what you did with your dropbox tracker, it's ingenious, it looks a bit like having augmented reality in PSOBB :)
(I'm French and while I try my best to write readable english, sometimes meaning is "lost in translation").
Also, I guess the higher level players get more from these psobbadddons than a slob like me that play casually !

TLDR: Good Job on the addon!

I love this so much. Thank you for your wonderful contribution to the community <3

I do have one request, if possible. Music Disks are counted as consumables and there is no way of separating them. Could this be added in the future?

Yes that's possible, what exactly are you looking for? "Separating" could mean several different things.

Was thinking of Music Disks in particular can have a different tracker apart from the 'Consumables Tracker' group, if possible?
