Commissioning other epilepsy-friendly mods

Hi everyone. I don't actually have epilepsy, but for reasons I won't get into flashing/flickering lights can cause me to have panic attacks. I love PSO and always find myself coming back to it, but since my unfortunate psychological condition came on I've been finding various games I used to love difficult to play. In PSO, there are some areas I try to avoid altogether, some situations where I have to fight with my camera turned away from enemies or the environment, in order to not risk a spike in anxiety.

If anyone is interested, I'd like to pay someone to mod various effects to make them more friendly to myself and those with epilepsy. I've already come across in this forum mods to reduce the bright flickering barriers, a change to Dark Flow (Something I'm glad I hadn't encountered beforehand) and a change to the floor of the Mines to stop it flickering. These are definitely some big ones, but there are other unpleasant effects. I'll list them below, and might have to add more as I encounter/remember them:

1) Dark Falz Phase 4's soul stealing mechanic - The player whose soul is taken is linked to Dark Falz on the minimap. Unfortunately, this link rapidly flashes the colour of the player with the stolen soul. I'm unsure if the same happens with Olga Flow, I don't fight it often and the last time I tried it died before any soul stealing occurred.
2) Vol Opt form 2 - During the attack where it shoots out an orb that traps you in place, the panel that faces you starts to rapidly flash red.
3) Delbiter and Dorphon's screams - These two enemies make a funny little screaming sound, which causes an orange flickering circle to appear inside them. It's the one that confuses players.
4) Delbiter's weird white light aura - I'm not sure when or why this triggers, but sometimes Delbiter will get an aura of large white orbs that flicker in and out of existence in the middle of it's body.
5) Photon Blast circles - The circles that appear under your feet when you begin a photon blast, sadly they flicker.
6) Gallon's Shop background - Right behind Gallon, there's a huge screen that seems to have rows of lots of tiny glowing white dots that seem to move around. I've not looked at it very closely so my description might be a bit off, but it's a difficult screen to miss.
7) The Sun - They say you shouldn't look directly at the sun anyway, but sometimes you're forced to run towards one. In the VR Temple, and the Dark Falz pre-boss arena, you can be put in situations where you're walking towards a lightly flickering sun in the background.
8) The Forest doors - While the laser fence mod makes the laser fences significantly more tolerable, unfortunately in the Forest the ones that line the top of locked doors are untouched.

Ideally what I want in all these cases is for their effects to either be made one solid (possibly darkened) colour, to be slowed down, or removed. In terms of payment, if you think you can make any meaningful changes to these effects please quote me a price you think is fair and we can discuss things further.

No replies yet? Might be because this goes in the direction of anything involving real money - i'd suggest to instead just donate to the server lifeline. Maybe make a tier list or something, where you declare how much you'd donate for what kind of work. Some stuff (like the sun flare) is tough as nails to get rid of, iirc! Others might really just demand a little graphical edit. You could have someone with the proper knowledge map out that list for you by giving an approximation about its difficulty. @Usagi might be able to help with that : )

Ohhh... I knew real world trading was against the rules, but I figured mod commissions weren't the same thing.
If it's against the rules, I would happily make it a donation to the servers instead. Gonna need a mod to weigh in on this, I suppose

This doesn’t constitute as RWT but people are eternally salty from years ago when the shithack dev ran off with all the money and didn’t back up anyone’s saves lol.

Commissioning mods should be fine but people just generally turn up their noses to anything involving money with this game.

I think it’s noble to try to fix some of the epileptic stuff in this game but maybe an actual epileptic could chime in. Idk but if I had epilepsy triggered by games I guess you would just not play video games at all because of the risks involved.

Even if the games animations were completely “fixed” I think the risk is just general to games and screens and artificial lights in general.

With respect, I don't think you correctly understood what I was saying. There's nothing noble about it, I'm doing it as much for my benefit as anyone else. I might not have epilepsy, but these things do affect me.

Those with epilepsy will also happen to benefit. I know they exist in this game, as the author of the topic in this forum regarding the flickering Mines floor stated they have epilepsy.
