Can you swap player models on Steam Deck?

I’m a huge Sonic fanboy, and with the Sonic Knuckles and some other items coming out hopefully very soon, it got me thinking about trying to go for a whole “Knuckles” theme for my HUcast. Which of course got me thinking; how sweet would it be to actually use the Knuckles mode in lieu of my Hucast? Similarly, switching mh RAmar to Tails, or my FOnewm to Sonic, those would all be super sick!

Only thing is, I play on Steam Deck. So I wonder if the process of trying to “mod” or whatever to replace the your char model would actually work?

Playing on Linux/Steam Deck makes no difference to the compatibility of mods, follow the exact same instructions as Windows.
