I think I probably would have tried to clip like how is done in the TTF speedrun for atleast an hour if this happened haha

One time in a party a Zu dropped a PD inside of one of those rocks (before the update that fixed this) and they were able to get it by spamming a katana until they clipped enough in to grab it lol
