It is with great sadness I announce that a dear friend of ours has passed away. You may have come across one of his many names (WHOYOUBE, Knight Raven, NYT Raven, IZaven, and probably a few others). He even started the Quick Question-Quick Answer thread on this forum! We kept coming back to PSO, and our memories of playing it together go all the way back to the day it released on Gamecube when we split-screened it with 2 other friends.

I havent put too many hours on this server compared to past adventures. But years ago we made a pact that if something happened to either of us, we would hunt each other's dream weapons. He always wanted Guld Milla and I wanted a SJS. Guess I need to pick up the pace. Ive got a lot of work ahead of me if I want to keep that deal! So many great memories to keep me company along the way...

I was wondering why I hadn't seen him around anymore, and I'm just shocked to finally read this. Had the pleasure of playing a couple of times, and I remember checking his help thread back in the day often. May he rest in peace. Best of luck on fulfilling those hunts, my dude.

Raven-kun.....Mew Had stopped breathing upon hearing the news earlier while in game. Even after years of being in an environment where death can come to someone you had sparred with or eaten together and casual conversation the day before....it Still Hurts. Just know this Cecille-chan, we'll be here to halp keep your chin up when its only the ground your heavy heart and sad eyes want to wander. By that screen shot of all of us together, looks like it was Spring around this time of year =').

I remember doing a few Dragon + partial Caves TTF with him on his Purplenum RAcast. Back in the day when everyone was still low lvl and gearing up, like 2015.. Best of luck on the hunt!
 
Sorry for your loss. Gonna pray for you and his loved ones. I mostly solo but i did do some runs with him. Good times I'm truly hurt. You will see him in heaven one day and godspeed on fulfilling his dream and yours as well. Be strong

This is beautiful, Mew!

We're just a small family of dedicated people together on a cloud-ship sailing in the vast, open skies of ever after. There is no destination but, still, there is no mutiny. We've all accepted that this great craft can only dock after its crew is gone. Each time one of us falls from her decks through sickness or storm, our chants in the night grow louder. There is no certainty in this world of clouds as there is no certainty in the "real" one.
If only reverser could reach a little further....
I will pray for NYT Raven.
