50h bringer

On average it takes about 35 PCs to get an item to 50h. That, and the person who boosts the item has to bear the risk. I would say 80 PDs?

To buy?

They don't really come up often as it's one of those items you make once and keep a hold of.

People always think they'll be able to make one for less than a realistic asking price, even though so few have been made with the minimum 15 PCs. Realistically it'll take 25 - 50 PCs to 50h an item and I've heard of people with *much* worse luck.

If you want one you might have to throw out some decent offers 80+, because any seller is likely going to want a replacement. If you're selling? I guess it depends on what it cost you.

Yeah I think 80 is fair. It represents the PC cost (40 PCs) of someone who had slightly below average luck getting 50h on it.

Mine took me:
3 pd for item which really I feel I got for less than it was worth, I'd say it is 5 min IMO but really a lot of people do seem ok with letting this go for less for some reason.
1 pc for 10%
2 pc for 20%
3, 3, 3 for 30%
4, 4, 4, 4 for 40%
5, 5, 5 for 50%

The fact that it took me about 90 pds total and no mention of the time to make my bringers is what makes me say that if someone wanted to sell theirs I'd say no less than 80 as a price as well.

The thing that makes this hard a hard sell though is that most people can't afford the cost of this weapon up front (and those that could chances are have a 50 hit bringers already) and people could judge it based off the min cost it takes to make as well. So what that means is that while my luck with 30 and 40 was overall unlucky (I spent 32 on 40% alone and 18 on 30% when stat wise I should have had to spend less) the true cost of this weapon only shows at 50 hit.

As in...you'll be hard pressed to sell a 40 hit bringer's for what you've spent on it so far and your only chance of really making a profit is to risk all and get the 50% and you chances are won't even be able to make a profit on that, cause in the end mine was still 10 pd more than it is even worth and it could have been worse cause I know people have spent 100+ on this weapon before the game throws them a bone.

Another final nail in making money off this is that it is a fo weapon and only 4 of the game's 12 classes will care about it. Sure 40% and 50% beat a base 50 hit demon beam rifle in ata, but good luck making a ranger care when in general they have a basic weapon being able to do what this does up to 40% hit unless they have a FO as well.

Considering how the base cost to run a fo is higher than other classes already most budding fo won't be able to afford this weapon anyway.

Hell a basic 50 hit demon's handgun can do what this does for the fo classes is better than 20% bringers rifle at least hit wise. So good luck making a profit off of a 30% hit bringer's even.

Now not gonna lie, this is still a great weapon. hit wise only 5 rifles really beat the base ata of this and only one of those (holy ray) is considered a good weapon anyway.

Really your best bet on making money off bringer's is to sell the basic ones you find yourself for 15-20 pd after grinding them up to 20% hit (6 pd for the 20% itself which no one will argue, 5 for the part which I think is fair, 4-9 for the fact that it is with you right now saving someone a few steps and even then it could cost them 4 as well if they are unlucky and even make up the amount you lost if you failed the 20%).
This works for Branz launcher as well lol.

A basic 20% bringers gives even a fomar without red ring 246 ata, which is enough to smack scorpions for one thing in desert easily with the special, its a hard deal for a budding fo to pass IMO.

lol nah

lol nah what? I was saying a I'd price a 50 hit at 80 pd like everyone else in this topic then pointing out why and how if you wanted to make any profit off it at all it be best to sell em when they low.

(@Ade did you use some sort of approximation?)

Expectation for number of PCs used is 43.5
Minimum number of PCs used is 15

Assuming PC: PD rate is still 1:2, your price should be enticing, although most people don't have a lot of spare PDs.
Recently some people have been selling PCs at a discount though.

PCs just lose their value as time goes on by default. Faster than mats IMO.

They sadly just aren't used for as much. I still think we need some stuff put in to prevent that. Its the same for mats. We just don't have enough people playing to prevent it from happening as fast.

Part of the problem is that enemy weapons themselves are kind of meh on average. Hit weapons only have a few good ones and they have other parts that are better or just not good enough.

-the claws are worthless, booma classes and dragon.
-the gi gue bazooka is outclassed overall. The belra cannon is outclassed as well.
-rappy fan is outclassed.
-delsaber is outclassed as well of course, and while the shield is a neat low cost dark resist shield it really isn't gonna cost much to make.
-ape heads don't need hit and the sorcerer staff is outclassed + is a bad special + not used for special anyway
-S-berill hands are worthless.
-P-arm blades and G-Assassin sabers require u to get up close to use arrest which is silly (and G-Assassin's can't even use sjs)
-S-red blades are used for special

-S-beat blades have really only limited use granted they are unreduced hell
-Branz is only a bit better than a basic charge arms and the stupid things have some huge down sides
-Gal Wing has the potential for crazy group damage (hard attack x 3 on a group of enemies if you can line em up). It is a sort of unique use but doesn't need really even 40 hit cause the special uses hard accuracy anyway and is trying for the 3rd hit. Plus only FO can use this.
-Bringer's rifle is the only good one that costs a arm to make lol but is still mainly for 4/12 classes.

So yeah only 1 item to truly grind out of all enemy weapons.

Really still think if we had a way to melt down pc maybe more like mats we could have a way to keep their value.
