Nope, just make a new account and make sure you don't select Hardcore or sandbox on the mode selection part of your new account creation and you should be fine.

From what I understood, the DC one was RS2, or I'm just going out of my mind. Either way that's the only one I've put any time into. We had an arcade cab at college that was Rival Schools one for about a week till they swapped it for EX3, which was unfortunate.
