Welcome! I had the most luck with a wired xbox360 controller, and they are dirt cheap these days. It was a simple plug and play, no weird software downloads/configurations.

Exactly, the offline story quests were pretty dull, and were mostly a means to an end like getting specific items or unlocking the ability to transform enemy parts, or learning more about the story itself.

I saw a couple anti-leech posts, but everyone else seems for it. I mean... you earn drops regardless of tagging, so why not exp?

Yeah try the retrievals, in my mind it was how I wish the levels were designed by default since it gets pretty nutty and the action stays pretty intense
