I'm inclined to agree on the subject of spirit maybe needing more power than it gets, as it is a resource that can easily be depleted (which goes back to the point I made on techs) since your ability to use either is dependant on you stuffing your inventory with fluids so you're able to continue...

Sounds like a fairly similar idea to a project I'm wanting to work towards. I was looking to make a whole new game that kept some of the addictive aspects that keep PSO players coming in whilst refreshing the combat and providing a whole new story. No new games here, I'm between PSO, Warframe and binging out on Disgaea PC, I played the original version back when Nippon Ichi didn't touch PC ports <.< Love that series. Here's to holding out for ports of the rest of them, since I don't own any of the Sony consoles anymore.
