Sooo...TV/monitor brand recommendations?
Monitor just by an LG. Monitors will cost an arm and a leg for a 34" though. If you're buying a tv for dual purpose wii u and computer: LG makes the best IPS panels hands down. so look at: Samsung, LG, Philips, Vizio(newer), panasonic, toshiba, Hitachi, sony. They all suckle off of LG panels... -

I know the idea of items is a touchy subject, but have you thought of adding merges if possible to just standard box drops but have it removable as per /purist command? You've expressed that you are able to do it but you don't have good background in model design or how to properly balance...
