Hello everyone I am a long time player from Dreamcast days. Hope all is well, this brought back so many memories. I am currently playing and wanted to know how do you chat in game? I hit F9 or 8 where the keyboard shows and nothing.
 
To chat to press the spacebar and start typing the words will appear on the bottom left of the screen. Alternatively you can press the top button of your action pallet to bring up the simple chat.

Mew will give you a proper welcoming POUNCE a little later....but in the meantime, Yes, that annoying habit of tapping Spacebar to type is mostly there for utilizing that tantalizing set of hotkeys you've prolly noticed at the bottom of your screen in combat? Just be warned that tapping F11 Will toggle options for not hasing to tap spacebar every time to chat...this will also kinda hamper use of the hotkeys and keyboard kombat mid crisis, too. So if someone who is not using a game pad suddenly cries out..."I CAN'T MOVE!!", simply ask them..."you molested the F11 key, Didn't you?"...and watch how they slowly re-engage as if nothing happened~! Oh, and F9 is used solely for TEAM CHAT Once you're on a 'team'... =3!

Any Wired USB type gamepad (XBOX360/ONE/PS4/5) is pretty much plug and play! Have purrsonally been using an XBOX360/ONE pad for over 17 years now~!
 
Welcome to the Server! You'll find the community here is welcoming and helpful. You'll have plenty of people to play with. I would also recommend a controller- Though I know some play on keyboard. Outside of spacebar activating the chat I don't really use the keyboard much myself....

If you're needing some help in game with clearing some quests or want someone to hunt some stuff with hit me up in game/discord!

Been using a WIRED Xbox360/ONE pad for over 17 years now.... the Wireless ones need some kinda settings molesting to prioritize it over your wireless mouse if connected? Good luck~! <3!

No add-ons required for it, you can re-bind the controls in the settings in game ^^. If you use steam, I do recommend you close it out, as it can cause some strange interactions with controller inputs. I use either Bluetooth or my controller plugged in and it works both ways :3
